Finding Qualified Candidates

Back in Motion and Universal Learning Institute have partnered to provide WarehouseAbilities, a skills training program for Persons with Disabilities. Graduates will be job-ready and certified in WHMIS, Occupational First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Forklift Operator, Scissor/Boom Lift, and Fall Protection.

How Do We Help?

• We provide Lower Mainland employers interested in hiring Persons with Disabilities with access to motivated and skilled individuals 
• Training includes hands-on skills development in our training warehouse, so candidates will be prepared for work in a real warehouse environment 
• You have the opportunity to trial potential candidates through work experience 
• We work with your industry needs to match you with job-ready candidates for part-time or full-time employment 
• We provide ongoing supports and job coaching after hire to ensure long-term success 
• We deliver training to your staff on ways to promote a diverse workforce 
• WarehouseAbilities provides services at NO COST to employers
